Designing My Own Paradigm: Becoming an Embodied Liberation Guide
Apr 23, 2025
1 The Scene
My PhD is in Industrial-Organizational Psychology — the science of human behavior at work.
One of the most surprising things I learned during my doctoral training was how often I had to explain what I did.
As a newer branch of psychology, born in the early 1900s alongside the evolution of the modern workplace, the field has always shifted with the world it studied.
I spent over a decade inside some of the top consulting firms in the world — Northrop Grumman, IBM, Deloitte — designing systems to better understand people at work.
From interviews to job observations, assessments to coaching, I collected data on how humans navigated their jobs, leaders, teams, and identities.
And yet, no matter how prestigious the project or how interesting the data, I never found a job I’d choose to stay in. I wasn’t a fan of mine, either.
The deeper truth was: most of my work would live in an untouched archive, buried under bureaucratic timelines and quarterly goals. I couldn’t do 40 hours just to clock in and clock out.
I wasn’t meant to sustain busy work. I couldn't. Not after 7 near-death experiences and a lifetime of loss.
While I was consulting by day, a different kind of life was unfolding in the background — one made of therapy, books, walking rituals, ancestral conversations, and cosmic curiosities.
I fell back in love with learning and with myself. I started to see that I wasn’t just a data collector or consultant. I was a seeker. A bridge. A creative.
But there was no job description for the person I was becoming.
There was no HR-validated role for someone who wanted to study grief, legacy, energy, and creativity with the same rigor I once brought to surveys and spreadsheets.
So I created it.
In 2023, I finally surrendered to the identity I had been carefully crafting behind the scenes.
And while the layoff was technically a corporate decision, spiritually, it was an answered prayer. One I had whispered six months before.
I didn’t just leave my job. I became the architect of my own role — and in doing so, began to design the ecosystem of my brand, my leadership, and my life.
This evolution didn’t happen overnight. It was layered. Slow. Embodied. And it required me to stop performing expertise and start living truth.
That’s how I became my own Embodied Liberation Guide — a map of the values, energies, and creative forces that now shape how I lead, write, build, and serve.
Think of it as the soul-architecture behind everything I share.
In today’s blog, I’m introducing you to how I deconstructed my life and career, how I created my own role in the world, and what you can do to start deconstructing your own.
2 The Wisdom
I call myself an Embodied Liberation Guide — not as a title, but as a declaration.
It’s not something I read in a book or borrowed from a trend. It’s something I became. A role that emerged only when I let go of every pre-written script and chose to create one from the deepest truths of who I am.
Let’s break it down:
✨ Embodied
The Return to the Body, to Earth, to Now
This isn’t performative presence. It’s not a concept I’m floating above — it’s felt, practiced, and lived in my bones.
To be embodied is to bring the divine into form — to walk the earth as a full-spectrum woman, rooted and aware.
It’s hips that remember ritual.
A voice that carries legacy.
Breath that honors both the ancestors and the future.
In my work, embodiment is sacred activism. It’s how I remember I am not just mind or title — I am flesh, rhythm, intuition, bloodline.
To be embodied is to choose presence again and again.
🕊️ Liberation
Freedom as Destiny
Liberation isn’t just about systems — it’s about the soul.
It’s unhooking from the lies that say you’re too much, too soft, too ambitious, too late.
It’s breaking contracts with hustle, shame, scarcity, and silence.
It’s freeing your voice, your rituals, your rest, your pleasure, your creative force.
And yes — it’s ancestral.
Our lineages know what it means to be both caged and crowned.
My work is abolitionist at the soul level. I don’t just name the chains — I guide others to the keys.
Liberation is not a destination — it’s a devotion.
🌙 Guide
The Initiated One Who Walks Beside You
I’m not here to tell you what to do.
I’m here because I’ve walked through my own voids — the unraveling, the unbecoming, the wild unknown.
A guide doesn’t lead from above.
She listens deeply, sees clearly, and reminds you:
You already hold the map.
This role chose me. It emerged from lived experience, from initiation, from saying yes to the journey even when I had no title for what I was becoming.
A guide says:
“I can’t walk your path for you. But I will walk beside you, with reverence.”
These three words — embodied, liberation, guide — now anchor everything I create.
3 The Embodiment
Queen Mindset Leadership™ has always been a reclamation, not just of power, but of how we power. It began with healing, decolonization, and embodied sovereignty. But something has shifted.
Since birthing the Creative Awakening series, I’ve felt a deeper remembering rising—one where creativity is not a side note to strategy... it is the strategy.
And where quantum consciousness is not separate from service, it is the field we lead from.
As I channeled, taught, and lived this work, a new iteration of the Queen Mindset Leadership™ model began to reveal itself, not as a replacement, but as an expansion.
At the heart of this next chapter are three core layers of creative leadership:
🌿 1. Creative Identity
This is the reclamation of who you are as a vessel.
It’s where voice meets vision. Where cultural, ancestral, and intuitive wisdom shape your leadership.
It’s not about “branding”—it’s about becoming.
⚡ 2. Creative Energy
This is how you move. How you channel. How you rest, initiate, and respond.
It’s rooted in cyclical intelligence, spiritual physics, and intuitive rhythm.
It’s not hustle. It’s harmonics.
👑 3. Creative Sovereignty
This is your ability to create in alignment with your truth—not trends.
It’s your boundaries, your business model, your sacred no.
It’s knowing you are the source and the steward of your reality.
These three layers—Identity, Energy, Sovereignty—are the inner creative cosmology of QML 2.0.
In subsequent blogs, I'll be sharing the 7 Guiding Principles of Embodied Liberation— a constellation of values that serve as the invisible architecture behind every offering, every blog, every part of the Queen Mindset Leadership™ ecosystem.
Meanwhile, here are some questions to get you going on your own deconstruction:
Questions to Deconstruct Your Own Life
-
What roles have I outgrown, and who am I becoming instead?
-
What am I pretending not to know about what I truly want?
-
Where does my creative energy feel most alive?
-
What would it look like to name my own role in the world?
-
What systems, beliefs, or habits do I need to deconstruct?
You are the creator of your life. You get to define what success, leadership, and liberation mean to you.
Welcome to the journey.
